An Awesome Book about Faith and Healing

Dr. Price helped me get back to the basic principle of divine healing -- focusing on the healer (Jesus) rather than the healing. His view that faith cannot be generated by humans, rather it is given by God, revolutionized my thinking. This idea takes away much of the worry and stress about stepping out on one's own human effort; rather we are only successful when we act under a complete dependance on Jesus, the healer. If you are hitting a wall when seeking for healing, this book is a must read.

Breath of fresh air for those who are confused about faith!

Charles Price after 20 years of ministry in the early 1900s answers the question of why some people get healed and some do not. It is a real eye opener when he reveals that "real faith" comes from God alone and that we cannot manufacture it by believing hard enough or doing things to prove that we have it. He says that we need to trust God to give us the faith we need not only for healing, but also for salvation. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8,9 (KJV) and that we need to pursue Jesus because the Bible says "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;" Hebrews 12:2 (KJV) He gives many wonderful stories to show us how this principle worked in his ministry and how we can apply it to our own situation. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has been perplexed by this nagging question.

Excellent, Excellent, EXCELLENT!!!!!!!

I bought the original by Dr. Price and could not put it down. I could not even reach far when I saw myself in it. You see, Jesus
Christ had literally healed me without any man's touch; the entire world had given me up to die, THEN JESUS CAME (to me!)
AND CALLED MY NAME, thank you, Jesus. 5 years later I heard of this book from my Sunday School teacher in a very short
manner. I ordered it & when I came to one chapter, that title THEN JESUS CAME, everything that happened that Wednesday was played before me AND IN THAT CHAPTER. Thank you, Jesus. Kwame, Rhode Island
